I have a rant coming up about straight size retailers who make plus size lines, but thats not what this pic is about. Let us just enjoy the simple elegance of this asos curve dress. The color is peculiar but versatile. The style is flattering. And I just friggin’ love it.

Upon viewing the new Zara lookbook, I wanted everything from there. However, yea, um, Zara does NOT do plus size. Now while there are a couple of things I could possibly squeeze into, most of that would die a horrible death on my body. But me being the resourceful person that I am (read: internet window-shopoholic) I’ve found a way to recreate one of the looks for my fellow plus size gals. Here is the original I scored from This is Glamorous:

Here is my recreation for my plus size gals:

What do you guys think?

Daily Inspiration: Just saw these runway pics on Madison Plus from a fashion show by OneStopPlus. This is the epitome of what sophisticated fashion should be for women of all sizes. I’m glad someone is taking notice. For now, I just want to stare at that beauty.

Now, I’m not into celebs, like at all (except my beloved Olsen twins, but I mean seriously, they are like fashion gods…) but when I saw this picture of Hayley Hasselhoff:

I thought, “That blazer is hawt.” Its definitely something you don’t see being worn often, but the sheer sleeves give it massive appeal. Then, by a sheer stroke of luck, as I was perusing through ebay, I came across a blazer that is mighty close:

Now, its not exact, because I am thinking that Hayley got that made, or straight boutique stole it. But with a little action from your local tailor, I’m pretty sure you can get the sleeves taken in (to tailor fit our arms) and those cuffs chopped off. Et voila, non?
If you want to get the jacket, go here and get your shop on. Would you rock it, and if so, how?
